Both my partner and I have retired and nowhere in the write up for Newquay Holiday Park do they tell you it’s on a steep hillside most certainly not suitable for elderly people. We have a small dog but my partner was unable to walk her as the hills were too steep to even attempt.
There was a dog “walking area” on top of two hills but the only thing missing from this area was a burned out car as it was just a small piece of wasteland covered in brambles and thistles.
It seems if you have a dog you are treated like a second class citizen.
When we arrived at the site it was raining and our caravan was not ready so we were under the impression that we could take our dog into the bar area. After ordering drinks we were told to leave as dogs were not allowed.
On speaking to the person in reception they told us that the dog was not allowed in any of the facilities. So much for “Dog friendly”
The caravan itself was old to say the least , where the mattress was completely “knackered”. They did change that for another one which was not much better so we used the duvet covers on the top of the mattress to get a decent nights sleep.
I would not recommend this site to anybody unless they are on a keep fit week

Me and my family where staying thier for two weeks and it was like a dump, we couldent put are cars on the green as the tents where so packed together i swear that breaks health and safety as at another camsite we where told that we we had to move the tent 3 steps to the left, the showers where to hot scolded me i had burns on my back, the toilets and showers where dirty muddy, the entertainment was rubbish kids time all the time entertainment staff where just using for entertainment not doing anything and wernt welcomed at all.
