The main attraction at the stunning Les Sablons holiday park  in Portiragnes Plage, Languedoc is the alluring coastal retreat of the beach.  This eurocamp parc has direct access to the golden sands and shimmering waters, ideal for a day laying under the sun or taking to the crashing surf. You will find a chance to relax and unwind while lounging on the beach, or for the more active, you can take to the ocean for one of the many different water sports.

There is certainly something for everyone at this park. When staying at Les Sablons from Eurocamp however, you don’t need to leave the terrace for a prime sunbathing spot. With an amazing five pools to choose from, this parc provides its own chance of a day of sun and swim. This park is completely family friendly, and takes care to provide a warm and safe environment so that parents can put their minds at ease while the little ones splash in the pool.  There are even six different kid’s clubs, including Leo’s Fun Station, Energy, and Base. For the older set, this is a wide array of hosted shows and other events to behold. If you are looking to get moving to a vibrant musical beat, the parc hosts indoor and outdoor dance parties for just that

Your time at Les Sablons parc will be filled with all the best comforts and luxuries, as the parc takes great pride in providing the best accommodations. Choose from two or three bedroom classic, comfort, or superior mobile homes, many of which offering their own air conditioning and decks, or instead a roomy tent for your lodgings. Never short on things to keep your busy, or giving you a chance to simply unwind, Les Sablons makes for a wonderful holiday.

Reviews for Les Sablons Holiday Park

  1. Ian says:

Just back from a week at Les Sablons holiday park and had a great time. The pools were busy, but you could still find the odd sun lounger or chair to soak up the sun. Loose swimming shorts are banned at les Sablons pools so get yourself some speedos, or the slightly more acceptable ‘mid-length jammers’.

The pitches were a decent size, and we had enought room for a 6 man tent, two tables, chairs and a car, leaving enough room left for the kids to play around. The toilet blocks were regularly cleaned, and we only had one short wait for a shower all week. The sandy beach is perfect for kids, and the sea is shallow for the first 10m or so making it relatively safe. No too busy, and lots of room. Would definately go there again.

We decided to drive down from Calais in one day, and made it without incident. Avoid the suggested routes via TomTom and Google maps and go via Reims and Lyon. You get some traffic while crawling through Lyon, but its so much better than Paris. There are loads of places to stop along the way, but I’d recommend the large ‘Aires’ where you can sit down on the loo. The smaller Aires have hole in the floor toilets, and while very clean they are tricky to use, especially for the kids. The petrol on the motorways is more expensive than from Auchan and Carfour so update your Sat Nav with the positions of the supermarkets and plan your trip. Tolls 80 euros, diesel £110, dvd players for the kids, priceless. Make sure they’ve got lots to keep them amused and make a few stops along the way. the picnic stops and service areas have play areas to let them stretch their legs before the next section.

Les Sablons holiday park is great and we’ve already re-booked with Eurocamp for 2011.
