Reviews for Landguard Holiday Park

  1. Mrs Kerry Sawers says:

We have just returned from Park Resorts, Languard, Isle of Wight. Very, very unhappy. The place is run down, dirty, very poor upkeep. Showers were filthy with matted hair and dirt, broken tiles. Toilets were disgusting, no toilet paper, wet floors, unmentionables on the walls, blocked and broken. The pitches have no privacy at all, the roads are too narrow with trees on every corner (we had a caravan). Evening entertainment was shocking, toe curling. DONT GO THERE.

  2. V Newell says:

My family has visited Landguard for over 50 years. It used to be GREAT. But since Park Resorts took over it has been a complete disaster. Booking errors, incorrect charges, constant changes of personnel, noone knows who you are, demoralised staff, filthy facilities, access to facilities more limited (e.g. pool opening hours), poorer entertainment, kid’s club almost non-existent, broken down equipment in caravans and a much wilder type of clientele (even though its still “families”, there is more loud boozing, drunks reeling around, yobbish behaviour etc).

  3. Peach says:

I took my 16 yr old son on a short “Sun offer” break to Languard resort. We had a bronze caravan & were perfectly happy with the accommodation, & facilities on offer. Although , I must say we didn’t bother with entertainment passes.
The caravan was very clean , & cosy . The bathroom / kitchen spotless & with everything we required.
My only critism was the parking. We were on a pitch, that didn’t have adjacent parking, & had to go into a communal car park nearby. I have a large vehicle & found it hard to park , as the car park doesn’t take into consideration the amount of cars it has to facilitate. Plus some of the other holiday makers parked very badly , with no thought to others. Once I actually parked – I didn’t drive for the rest of the holiday as there was no need to. This site , is perfect for all the sights on the Isle of Wight. The bus service, is excellent & worked out cheaper ,than using the car & paying car parking fees.
Overall I think it is a good site, & I want to re visit next year.

i took my family there this year in august from the 2nd week for 2 weeks.
the site was clean and well kept concidering that it was being used .
the site was quite and the holidy makers were very kind.
the evening entertainment was a strugle for the 3 adults so they did there very best . they need a few more to help out .
all in all the holiday was great and the family has decided to go back next year to the same site
