me and my wife booked for 11 nights with our touring caravan we were shown our pitch whitch did’nt seem too bad we got all set up and found the roads were unmade there was very little grass and the ground was like volcanic ash black so that meant everything got black and dirty went for a shower but the toilet block was that dirty i went back to the van for a shower, their was supposed to be 6 mtrs between each outfit for the fire regulations but tents and touring caravans were all on the same site and some were aprox 1 mtre from the next unit the clubhouse was playing heavy thumping music while 11-30pm every night the pool was packed with kids nothing wrong with that so we thought get the weekend over all the kids back at school we will try the pool guess what they closed it down so end of the school holidays you can forget the pool we had booked from 30 aug to the 10th sept and the pool closes end of aug but they kept it open till aprox the 3rd of sept so me and the wife paid for this service but never got to use it under the fresh water taps was a grate and i saw people emptying there waste water down there instead of going to the toilet block where there was a propper disposal point so there you have it camping and caraning 40 odd years and this is the worst site i have encounterd so be warned. jim barnsley, yorks

We asked to be on Yare and were given Bure, and ended up downgrading to a silver instead of gold, just to be near the amenities.I have been to different Park Resort caravan sites and they seem to have cleaner caravans,we heard quite a few other people complaining. The staff were friendly and polite. The restaurant served nice food and decent portions. The club’s entertainment was good, but I have been to better. The indoor pool was all one depth and not very exciting. We played crazy golf which only cost £1 each. This park is best to use as a base and visit places such as Pleasurewood Hills or Great Yarmouth, there just isn’t enough to do on site.We had a fairly good holiday but some things were disappointing, such as not being given our chosen grade of caravan. It is not a bad park but I don’t think I would return. It hasn’t put me off Park Resorts though as they do have better parks.
