Stayed at Heacham Beach Park Resort and we did not enjoy the experience
we booked a silver 12ft 3 bed caravan we did not think this was silver standard. the carpets were very badly stained, very bad ant infestation. The television was tiny.

My husband was upset when the bar could not serve Kronenberg Lager as the pump was out of order for the whole week and the only alternative lager was the very inferior overpriced Fosters resulting in us going to the pub instead of the club.

The swimming pool was in need of renovation -cracked tiles etc.

Staff were very young but tried their best and were very friendly.

On the third night of our stay 6 young adults arrive at caravan no. 28A at 12.30 a.m. in a white van and estate car waking us up and making a noise until around 2 a.m. they stayed 3 night getting up and banging around at 6 a.m. leaving at 7.30 a.m. returninglate in the evening.

No one ever checked our security passes as any time.

We left a day early and having previously used Haven and Hoeseasons Parks we conclude that Park Resorts standards fall way below the others.

Stayed at cayton Bay which i visited several times as a child and had heard that there had been changes which you think is going to be for the better.
Only to find on arrival that this is not the case. All facilities are now together in a small building which do not offer enough for the amount of people staying there. The entertainment in in one club and the only other place to get a drink is from the small pub that also is the only restuarant for all the site so struggle to get a table everytime.
The swimming pool is the same as when i visited as a child and desperatley needs revamping dirty and tierd, the lockers don’t work the old lighting, damp changing rooms.

The free soft play area was quite nice although you can’t let your kids go in without watching as they do not staff this and although there is clearly a sign that states that if children are taller than the rabbit roughly about 6 years they can not use it. However there were children in there teens racing round in there and knocking the smaller children all over even in the toddler part.

The arcade is also too small for the site in short the facilities needs improving and extending, they need an additional pub/restuarant, a fish and chip shop at the very least, better swimming pool and larger amusements.
I do have to say that the outdoor park which looked farley new was really nice and the kids enjoyed using it, just one of the baby swings was broken and as there was only 2 anyway it meant that parents of small children had to hang around and wait for you to finish so they could have a turn.

Stayed at Tymawr Wales in my tourer on the Warren. Area drainage very bad needs land drains fitting ground like a mudbath. Clean water types un hygenic a tap just bolted to an old railway sleeper no grid to drain area so just like a mud pool by tap. Pot wash area dirty and unkept. The maintenance workers on site driving round in vehicles thst are deathtraps very dangerous with children about. For such a large company it seems they are penny pinching. I asked one employee whos comment was the managers wont spend a penny if it can be avoided. My holiday was ok mind you I dont use the club etc as cost are atrocious I go off site for my nights out.
